FORGE ANVIL
Delivery plan builder and re-baselining tool
FORGE ANVIL uses BILLET outputs, milestone evidence and additional planning input to build or re-baseline a high-level delivery plan as the initiative matures.

Build or re-baseline high-level delivery plans using governance pack outputs, milestones, assumptions, dependencies and updated planning evidence.
FORGE ANVIL is the delivery planning component of the FORGE Logic™ ecosystem.
It takes the governance pack output from BILLET, including milestones, risks, assumptions, dependencies and delivery context, then combines that with additional planning input from a dedicated wizard.
ANVIL is used to build a high-level delivery plan. It can also be reused later when new evidence emerges, for example after requirements, design or a stage-gate review. Its purpose is to make the plan more evidence-based, more traceable and easier to challenge.
Many delivery plans are created once and then drift away from the evidence that originally justified them.
Milestones change, assumptions age, dependencies become clearer and risks materialise, but the plan is not always re-baselined in a disciplined way.
ANVIL helps teams build and update the plan using the best available governance and delivery evidence.
ANVIL builds or re-baselines a high-level delivery plan using structured evidence from BILLET and additional planning information captured through a wizard.
It uses milestones, assumptions, risks, dependencies, scope signals, constraints and delivery context to create a more coherent planning basis.
ANVIL produces a high-level delivery plan or refreshed planning baseline.
The output may include milestones, workstreams, dependencies, sequencing, planning assumptions, confidence indicators and risk-informed delivery considerations.
It is intended to support planning judgement, not replace the project manager.
