SCRIBE — Initiative Conversation Capture

SCRIBE captures early initiative conversations in plain language, then structures the problem, objectives, scope, assumptions and governance context so they can feed BILLET.

Project managers, programme managers, sponsors, transformation leads, PMO leads and delivery governance teams.

Method-agnostic; supports early capture for PM², PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid governance.

Overview

Overview

SCRIBE is the conversation-capture component of the FORGE Logic ecosystem.

It is used before or alongside structured intake, when the most important thinking still exists in discussion: what problem is being solved, what success looks like, what is in or out of scope, who is involved, what assumptions are being made and what constraints already matter.

SCRIBE captures that discussion in plain language, then turns the spoken input into structured initiation evidence. Its purpose is not to replace the web intake or generate a pack blindly from a meeting transcript.

The value is better source evidence. SCRIBE helps preserve the raw thinking before it is compressed into governance structure, giving BILLET a stronger basis for review, challenge and Governance Pack creation.

The buyer problem

The buyer problem

Early initiative thinking usually starts in conversation, not in a finished template.

Sponsors, PMs and delivery leads may discuss the real problem, constraints, assumptions, stakeholders and expected benefits before anyone has structured the information properly.

Without a disciplined capture step, important context can be lost, softened or reshaped too early to fit a form.

What it does

What it does

SCRIBE captures structured sponsor and PM input through a guided conversation.

It records the discussion, transcribes the answers and extracts initiation evidence such as the business problem, objectives, scope, stakeholders, assumptions, constraints and business case.

It does not create or approve the Governance Pack. It gives BILLET stronger source evidence to work from.

What it produces

What it produces

SCRIBE produces structured initiation evidence from conversation capture.

The output may include transcribed responses, extracted problem statements, objectives, scope boundaries, stakeholder and governance signals, assumptions, constraints, business case inputs and system references for review.

That evidence can feed BILLET, where the reviewed intake is shaped into a Governance Pack.
